SERMON RECAP
We live surrounded by what we can see—the responsibilities, distractions, struggles, and priorities of everyday life. But in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Paul warns that when we lose perspective, we easily lose heart. He calls us to fix our eyes on what is unseen and eternal, learning to see beyond the here and now to the greater reality of God and eternity. This confronts us with the question at the heart of the sermon: Does your life make sense in light of eternity?
Eternal vision gives us hope and purpose. At the cross, Jesus showed us that God works through weakness and suffering to produce eternal glory. Our troubles do not get the final word; God is renewing us and through our struggles making us more like Christ. Because eternity is real, what we do today matters—our prayers, our testimony, and our willingness to help others encounter Jesus carry eternal significance. The invitation is to lift up our eyes, allow eternity to reshape our priorities, and live with purpose and hope: pray for one person who is far from God and be ready to share your Jesus story with them.
